Karen villagers are under attack!
Thousands of villagers are fleeing attacks by the Burmese military.
New attacks in Lay Kay Kaw using heavy artillery are forcing thousands of villagers to flee. Some are crossing the river to Thailand while others are hiding in unsafe areas in the jungle.
The new villagers fleeing come on top of around 80,000 Karen villagers forced to flee bombings and attacks by the military since the military coup on 1st February.
Phan Foundation is working with local community groups who can get aid to them. The UN and other agencies do not have access.
Families have fled for their lives with only what they can carry.
They need food, clothes, shelter and medicines.
We can get help to them if we have the money. We need your donation now.
Please donate now. Children are going hungry and sleeping without shelter. Every donation, large or small, will make a difference.
The founders of the Phan Foundation have been through this ourselves. We know what it is like to run from bombs and hide in the jungle. We know who is on the ground genuinely providing help to these villagers.
You can donate from any country, the donations will automatically be converted from your local currency.
